John Erike serves as the general manager for Astros Quanta Inc. and oversees the organizational functions.
Professional Life:
John has spent over thirty years in the engineering field and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems industry. He is an active member of the Association of Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and African Diaspora Foundation (ADF).
Prior to joining Astros Quanta Inc., he was the CEO of Pemco Associates. He is currently the vice president of UNI Associates, where he oversees the design built of air conditioning and mechanical systems and supervision of engineering and technical staff. John is an expert in Alternative Energy and has managed several high-profile projects in the NYC Metro Area such projects include: NYU Medical, IBM, Trump, Brooklyn Hospital, Brookdale Hospital,The Regency Hotel and Nigeria House.
In addition to engineering design and mechanical contracting, teaching is one of his many passions. John has taught air conditioning and refrigeration principles, and technology at Operating Engineers Union. He also taught at APEX Technical College.
John earned his BSME in mechanical engineering from Stony Brook University. He currently resides in Long Island, New York.
